Baby n Me ....

I ve been waiting for ages n ages to watch JGS's new movie 'Baby n Me'. Well yest seems to ve been the lucky day since i found the full movie on utube .. yeyyyyyyy .. but it d been thr since nov 7th :( n i only found it on the 20th .. how sad is that :((

So the story goes:
JGS s the typical rebelious high school teenager, popular among the girls but a nightmare for his parents n teachers. Typically v c the dad throwing his son out of the house to make him a changed person, but here his parents decide to leave home when they cant take anymore of his crazy antics .. haha .. so one fine day JGS finds himself all alone at home. Well he cant b happier !! But soon things change when a baby appears with a name tag claiming to b his son .. hehe. What follows is the usual drama with a happy ending ....

It wasn the expected copy of Juno (the english movie) or Jenny Juno (the korean movie) though the whole theme was similar. It was fun watching JSG n baby mason .. but why the hell did they use the voice over of some stupid drunk guy instead of a baby .. that was really lame !
Now I dont think it was as good as i was expecting it to be :( which is sad; only die hard fans of Jang Guem-Suk like me :D would b able to handle it !!!

The Mediator Series

Recently i came across a young adult series called 'The Mediator' by Meg Cabot famous for her Princess diaries series.
Its about sixteen year old Sussanah (Suze) who can see, touch, hit, punch n even butt kick ghosts, only no one in her family knows this ! That is she is one among the few mediators to walk the planet, whose role is to help ghosts finish their business on earth so they can pass on to the afterlife.
She n her mother, move from Brooklyn to live with her new stepfather and brothers in California. This is where she encounters Jesse, a spirit like no other and to whom she later proves to be bound by destiny, whether she likes him or not. And that she definitely does :D well he s such a handsome ghost living in her bedroom, u'd wonder who wouldn't, though hes from like 150 years back !!! Her new school is no better with lots of ghosts with unfinished business roaming the place. However a slight advantage would b Father dominic, the school principal, a mediator !

Sonds interesting ney ... well run along to the nearest library :)

Shadowland, Ninth Key, Reunion, Darkest hour, Haunted n Twilight make up the series. So far i ve only read Shadowland n waiting to get my hands on the others ........... which is proving to b sooooooooooooo hard since the school hols started :(

Nora Roberts / JD Robb

Eleanor Marie Robertson, better known as Nora Roberts or J.D.Robb is totally my best loved author in the romance genre. Two of my favs by her r the Stanilslaskis n the In death series.

The Stanislaski Series:
Details the lives of Yuri n Nadia Stanislaski after they fleed Ukraine to the US. Each book in this six part series is about one of their kids; Natasha, Mikhail, Rachel n Alex followed by their eldest grand-daughter Freddie n youngest Kate.
A good read if u love noisy BIG families n sunday parties n lots lots lots of emo :D

In Death Series by JD Robb:
A romantic-mystery/romance suspense series set in the late 2050s New York. Other planets have been discovered and humans have built man-made worlds where they travel for holidays. Droids are commonly used as mechanical servants or extra office labor. Food is prepared by machines called Auto Chefs.

The main characters r:

Lieutenant Eve Dallas: Eve was found in an alley in Dallas, when she was supposedly eight years old. She had a broken arm, was covered in old blood, and had no memory. Unable to remember anything at all, her social worker named her Eve n put her into a foster home, the beginning of Eve's life in the system. Eventually, by the start of the series, she becomes Lieutenant in the Homicide squad of NYPSD as a way of dealing with her own psychological issues.Eve is a fiercely dedicated cop. Eve prefers to do things on her own, as it has less complications that way, both in her personal and professional lives ... thats a really nice policy !

Eve's relationship with Roarke (her hubby) is integral to her character; she wants to depend on him, but she is afraid of using him. She gets over that as the books progress, Roarke is a civilian consultant in several of her cases. However, there is no one that Dallas loves more in the world, and vice versa. He is also the only man she has ever loved romantically. The same is true for him.

Roarke: A former career criminal, he is the owner and CEO of Roarke Industries, an inter-planetary corporation that has made him one of the richest men in the world. He is quite skilled in electronics and can dismantle any type of security, lock, or coding, as well as hacking into any electronic database—including but not limited to the FBI, Interpol or Homeland Security.He is very even-tempered, but does in fact have a very nasty temper if riled. He does not lash out indiscriminately, however, and usually is only angry when the situation calls for it. He has his own personal sense of justice separate from legality; if he believes something should be done, he will do it, even if it is illegal .. pretty strong char huh !!

The In Death Series is about Eve n Roarke n their friends like Detective Peabody, Detective McNAb, Mavis Freestone, Dr.Mira, CAptain Feeney n ............ n how they apprehend serial killers, rapists n a whole lot of sick bastards ... Still to get my hands on the latest in the bunch 'Salvation in Death', can hardly wait ....
